Terms & Conditions (Terms of Use)

1.1 Introduction

These Terms govern all bookings and services provided by Aveentour — including curated group tours, customized itineraries, wildlife safaris, spiritual pilgrimages (such as the 12 Jyotirlingas), offbeat hidden gems, and other meaningful journeys across India and select international destinations.

By making a booking or using our services, you accept these Terms in full. Our goal is to create journeys that are not just planned, but truly understood — with local insights and hassle-free planning.

1.2 Booking & Confirmation

– Bookings are confirmed only upon payment receipt and written confirmation. 

– Group tours are subject to a minimum number of participants. 

– You must provide accurate information. Any errors are your responsibility.

1.3 Prices & Payment

Prices are quoted in INR and exclude taxes, entry/safari/forest permits, tips, and local charges unless stated. A deposit is required; balance payment is due as specified. We reserve the right to adjust prices for currency fluctuations or Supplier changes.

1.4 Cancellation & Refund

Refer to Section 1 above. Special high-demand trips (e.g., Jyotirlinga circuits, festival pilgrimages, or limited-permit safaris) may have stricter Supplier-driven conditions.

1.5 Company Changes & Force Majeure

– All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or the booking portal.

– The following items are strictly Non-Refundable Items (under any circumstances): 

  – Visa processing fees 

  – Travel insurance premiums 

  – Airline, train, bus,ferry or any third-party transport cancellation charges

  – Government taxes, surcharges, or permit fees

  – Special requests ,upgrades or add-on services 

  – Safari permits or similar regulated entries

  – In the case of unforeseen weather conditions , natural disasters , political unrest , strikes or government restrictions,  certain activities may be altered or cancelled and in such cases, the Company shall make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternative arrangements of comparable value. However, no refund shall be payable for services not availed due to such circumstances.

– Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original mode of payment after deducting the applicable charges.

1.6 Passport, Visa, Permits & Health

You are responsible for valid travel documents and permits.

You must disclose any medical conditions at booking. Some experiences involve rugged terrain, long drives, high altitude, wildlife, or limited medical access — you accept these risks.

1.7 Safaris & Wildlife Experiences

– Sightings cannot be guaranteed and depend on natural behaviour and regulations. 

– Strict compliance with guide, ranger, and forest department rules is mandatory. Violation may lead to removal from the tour without refund. 

– Prohibited actions include feeding wildlife or using drones without permission. Book safaris only through official channels where advised.

1.8 Pilgrimages & Sacred Sites

Access to temples and religious sites is subject to temple authorities, government rules, timings, and quotas. We are not responsible for changes or denial of entry.

1.9 Offbeat & Customized Tours

Offbeat destinations and customized trips may have limited infrastructure. You accept the unique challenges and rewards of such journeys.

1.10 Suppliers & Limitation of Liability

We act as an agent for independent Suppliers. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the affected services. We are not liable for indirect losses.

1.11 Client Conduct

You agree to travel responsibly and respectfully towards fellow travellers, local communities, culture, and the environment. Disruptive behaviour may result in termination of participation without refund.

1.12 Complaints

Report issues immediately to the tour leader. Written complaints must reach us within 14 days of tour completion.

1.13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata.

1.14 Acceptance

By booking, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted this entire document (Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions) on behalf of yourself and all travellers in your booking.
