Itinerary

  • Begin your journey early morning from Chandigarh and drive towards the serene hill town of Narkanda.
  • Surrounded by dense pine forests and apple orchards, Narkanda offers a peaceful introduction to the Himalayas.

Overnight at Narkanda

  • Start at 7:00 AM with a visit to Hatu Temple, perched atop Hatu Peak with breathtaking panoramic views.

  • Return for breakfast at the hotel, then depart at 9:00 AM for Chitkul — the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border.

  • Village walk through traditional wooden houses
  • The serene Baspa River riverfront

Overnight at Baspa Camp Tent 

  • Start at 7:00AM with a visit to Mathi temple , Durga mandir. Depart at 10:00AM for Kalpa after breakfast.
  • Stop for lunch at Kalpa — a place of timeless beauty. Kalpa is known for its stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash range, where snow-capped peaks glow golden during sunrise and sunset.
  • Surrounded by apple orchards and traditional Himachali homes, it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural charm.

Overnight at Kalpa

  • Depart at 7:00 AM with packed breakfast for Nako, a quaint and ancient village near the Indo-Tibetan border.

Overnight at Nako

  • After breakfast, drive towards Gue Monastery.It houses a rare naturally preserved 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk, making it one of the most unique and mysterious attractions in the Himalayas.
  • Tabo known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas,” Tabo Monastery is over 1000 years old and renowned for its ancient murals, scriptures, and earthen architecture.

  • The sweet taste of local apricots.

Overnight at Tabo

  • After breakfast, explore Tabo village and head toward Kaza.

Things to do:

  • Mudh Village
  • Dhankar Monastery (old & new)
  • Lunch at Dhankar while enjoying dramatic cliffside views.

Overnight at Kaza

  • After breakfast, DEPART AT 10:00AM to explore the high-altitude villages.

Things to do:

  • Langza
  • Hikkim
  • Komic

Hikkim is home to the world’s highest post office, where sending a postcard becomes a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Surrounded by vast barren mountains, it offers a surreal sense of isolation and beauty.

Overnight at Kaza

  • After breakfast, explore Kaza

Things to do:

  • Visit Key Monastery — the largest and most iconic monastery in Spiti, perched dramatically on a hilltop like a fortress, offering stunning valley views.
  • Then explore Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world.

Overnight at Kaza

  • Drive to Chandratal Lake via Losar.

Things to do:

  • Lunch at Losar village.
  • Continue through rugged terrain to Chandratal.
  • Chandratal Lake, also known as the “Moon Lake,” mesmerizes visitors with its crystal clear waters that change colors throughout the day, set against a dramatic high altitude landscape.

Overnight at Chandratal

  • After breakfast, take one last look at the lake and head toward Manali via:
  • Atal Tunnel
  • Solang Valley
  • Sissu

Things to do:

Enjoy scenic transitions from cold desert to lush greenery.

Overnight at Manali

  • After breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh with unforgettable memories of Spiti Valley.

⁠Special Tips

Acclimatization
Spiti Valley is a high-altitude destination. Guests are advised to rest, stay hydrated, and avoid strenuous activity during the first few days.

Recommended Medical Kit
Carry personal prescription medicines along with basic medicines for fever, cold, allergies, motion sickness, digestion, ORS, and a first-aid kit. Consult your doctor regarding Acetazolamide (AMS medication).

Mobile Connectivity
Network coverage is limited in Spiti Valley. BSNL and Jio generally offer the best connectivity, though remote areas may have little or no signal.

Weather
Weather can change quickly. Carry warm layered clothing, a windproof jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, and comfortable walking shoes.

Environmental Responsibility
Please avoid littering and minimize the use of single-use plastics to help protect Spiti Valley’s fragile environment.

Cancellation Policy

1.1 Booking Confirmation 

Your booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or 50% advance of the total trip cost, followed by a written confirmation from our side. Once confirmed, the booking will be subject to this policy.

1.2 Advance Payment / Deposit

A non-refundable advance payment (as specified in the quotation/confirmation) is required to confirm and secure your booking. This advance amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation by you, irrespective of the time of cancellation. The deposit helps us block seats, make supplier commitments, and plan the tour.

1.3 Cancellation & Rescheduling

-If a rescheduling date request comes within 30 days from the trip date, the booking amount can neither be adjusted to your next date nor refunded.

-If a rescheduling date request comes prior to 30 days, it can be done without any cancellation charges in the case of domestic trips.

1.4 Customer Cancellation Charges

 In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

– Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original mode of payment after deducting the applicable charges.
